My grandmother (on the right) when she worked for the American Cancer Society in the late 60’s, early 70’s. Although she had smoked for quite some time, she told me that when she saw a picture of what it did to your lungs, she quit right then and there. After that, she wanted to start educating people about the dangers of smoking 🙂
